While thinking of exploring various tourist destinations in Asia, the first place that came to my mind was Thailand. It is also said that in Asia, South East Asia has many cheap destinations around whole of Asia. Thailand is much more than great beaches, fascinating culture, tropical climate as well as excellent food. I just wanted to explore many of these facts about Thailand. So, I planned a 3 days trip to Thailand, where I wanted to do all the small stuff that every local of Thailand does. Many things of Thailand have moved up, so is the budget, but planning a cheap trip is not a difficult task. I planned my trip and started my journey towards Thailand with great excitement.
When I required about flights to Thailand, they were a bit out of my budget; but somehow I managed to take a flight in order to save my time. I searched for a cheaper option and happily started my journey towards Thailand, keeping my cheap budget in mind and accordingly planning for it. The very first that I visited was the Koh Lanta island, which was one of the desired places in Thailand. It also helped me with my cheap budget. The most amazing thing was I was able to secure a private bungalow for me at the beachside, in just $15 per day. I spent most of my time beachside watching the marvelous sunset as well as drinking some specialty cocktails.
After spending a day in that beautiful island, I headed my journey towards exploring Thailand. What I found during my journey was, the northern region of Thailand is very different from rest of it. The ancient and attractive towns were really beautiful dotted with golden roofs of the ancient temples. It was even exciting to visit these temples lying in the valleys and bordered by tree lined mountains. For exploring some of the beautiful as well as remote parts of Asia, I visited Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, two most visited towns. I also went through some of the historic and architectural sites of Thailand which described the glorious past.
The food that I had at the markets in some of the major cities of Thailand was much fresher and delicious than that I found in a few best restaurants of Thai. The rates were also cheaper, as it didn’t at all compromise with the taste. One day I enjoyed a great Thai meal in a four star restaurant and paid jut $25 for it. The best way by which I saved a lot of money was using a samlor, rather than public transport for getting around Thailand.
This is how, my 3 days trip to Thailand came to an end and I returned home treasuring those peaceful moments that I spent in Thailand. It was really an awesome experience!
