On my trip to Europe I thought of getting an African experience close of Europe. As I had heard about it in Europe, I planned by visit Morocco for 2 days, that to during my Europe trip itself. I was pretty enthusiastic about it, so within no time I packed my bags and flew towards Morocco. As it’s situated very close to Europe, there were plenty of direct flights to Morocco, from all over Europe. While travelling from Europe to Morocco, one old man also told me about various airports of Morocco, that too, on a smaller budget.

As visiting Morocco was not in my list while planning my Europe trip, I had to be bit careful about my budget. Therefore, I thought of travelling with a budget so as to enjoy a great trip to Europe as well as Morocco. I landed up at Casablanca, the main airport of the country. I visited the imperial cities of Fes, Marrakech and Meknes; some of the best places to visit in Morocco. These places were full of enjoyment where I found amazing and colorful bazaars, bustling town squares and palaces. I also cherished the fantastic beaches along with the towns on seaside like Tangier, Essaouira and Asilah. The natural beauty of Morocco is also very eye-pleasing.

I spent my whole day in trekking through the Sahara, relaxing at the traditional Kasbah in a fascinating Dades Valley and also climbing the North Africa’s highest peak. The most amazing part was the camel trek in the Sahara desert; it was really an exotic experience for me.

For many travelers, Tangier is the gateway to the African countries. Places like Tennessee Williams, Truman Capote and Paul Bowles of Morocco has a lot more to offer to it visitors. One of the best beach towns in Morocco is Asilah, which is very popular for the sandy beaches during the summer months. The small shops, medina and the ramparts also had many things to shop for that too within a reasonable rate. I was also able to watch the cultural festival of Morocco for some time as it was high time and I had to leave for Europe. But whatever I saw in that few minutes was awesome.

Just within 2 days I was able to explore many of the interesting places of Morocco, with my tight budget and less time span. This was actually an unplanned trip to Morocco but gave me great pleasure and enjoyment within those two days!
